Rabbit Rescue Inc.

7640 Rosecrans Avenue, Paramount, CA

What is Rabbit Rescue?

We are a non-profit 501c (3) no-kill rabbit shelter staffed and run entirely by volunteers. Our goals include the rescue, rehabilitation and placement of abandoned rabbits, as well as public education regarding proper rabbit care and the importance of spay/neuter in battling the escalating overpopulation problem. We rely on public donations and monies made by our on-line store, RabbitShop.com.

Come and visit our bunnies any Saturday from 9-12 at 7640 Rosecrans Avenue, in Paramount CA. See who's available for adoption

Help us save this mom and her kits!

PenelopeCinnabon and her 6 kits were abandoned at Long Beach animal shelter. Long Beach shelter nearly adopted Cinnabon out before her kits were old enough to survive on their own.

Rabbit Rescue stopped the shelter from separating Cinnabon from her unweaned infant kits, and subsequently saved both mommy and babies. Then Cinnabon surprised us with 7 more babies!

Before we can place them in adoptive homes, and before they become fertile, this whole family needs to be neutered. The operations are safe, but expensive. They will cost Rabbit Rescue much more money that we have available. Please help!

Help us save these adorable bunnies!. You can help by donating online using the Donate button above, or contact us for other ways to donate.  You can also become a Rabbit Rescue Sponsor.

Come meet our charming, adoptable bunnies!

We always have a number of healthy, adoptable rabbits looking for homes. In addition to our adoption center, you can visit them in many local area PetCo stores. See our adoptions page for details.

Bunny of the month - June - Baby

Baby

Baby is a blue-eyed male rabbit with beautiful white fur and pale grey stripes. He loves to eat his fresh greens and needs special care and attention for his teeth. He likes to run and hop but is calm and loves to have his nose scratched. He'll buzz and honk to talk with you!

PetCo Foundation

PetCo Foundation has made a generous grant to Rabbit Rescue to pay for badly needed building repairs for our adoption center. These repairs will provide a safer, healthier environment for both bunnies and volunteers.
Many thanks, PetCo!
